When it comes to designing corporate identities we like to take a different approach. (duhh). But by different, we mean something other than melding together the first letter or the initials of the company's name and creating some kind of a recognizable icon or graphic. Years ago we had to take into account the printing of a logo in black in white, small and big, as well as color. Today this is really not considered, since full color printing costs have come down dramatically. Printing quality has also gotten better, making it easy for us to develop complex logos and icons that contain graphics, shading and multiple colors.
Our goldfish is not just a mascot. It's our logo! The goldfish symbolizes a simple business, but one that functions on a personal level. Goldfish are meant for individuals. If we were a multi-million dollar company, we'd use a barracuda! (we've already chosen the barracuda image) As a bonus, and most importantly, the goldfish's bright orange color is unmistakable and easily remembered.
We usually start out with about 3 - 6 well thought-out and carefully crafted logo options and give our clients an unlimited number of revisions to logo concepts.
